Speedy Hosting provides a complete resource catalogue. Websites, mailboxes, databases, DNS zones, SSL certificates, FTP accounts, cron jobs, and backups — all managed through the same job queue and audited through SpeedyCTL.
Website management
Apache & Nginx support
The panel manages both Apache and Nginx virtual hosts. Document roots are created automatically with correct ownership and permissions.
Domain & subdomain routing
Websites bind to domains and subdomains. The panel configures virtual host ServerName and ServerAlias directives automatically.
PHP version selection
Each website can select its PHP version independently. The panel configures PHP-FPM pools with per-site settings.
Custom configuration
Per-site custom configuration directives are supported. Advanced users can override PHP settings, add rewrite rules, or configure CGI handlers.
Quotas & limits
Disk quotas prevent a single site from consuming all server storage. Resource limits (CPU, memory, processes) are enforced per tenant.
Usage statistics
Per-website bandwidth and storage statistics are collected and displayed in the dashboard.
Mailbox provisioning
Dovecot mailboxes
Mailboxes are provisioned through Dovecot. Each mailbox gets a maildir, configurable quota, and IMAP/POP3 access.
MX record management
The panel manages MX records in the DNS zone. Mail routing is configured automatically when a mailbox is created.
Mail forwarding & aliases
Forwarding addresses and alias addresses are supported. Catch-all addresses can be configured per domain.
Spam & virus filtering
Incoming mail passes through ClamAV antivirus and spam filtering. Quarantined messages can be reviewed by administrators.
SMTP authentication
Outbound mail requires SMTP authentication. Credentials are managed per mailbox. DKIM signing is configured automatically.
Quota management
Per-mailbox disk quotas prevent storage abuse. Quota usage is tracked and displayed in the dashboard.
Database provisioning
MariaDB schemas & users
Each database gets its own schema and dedicated user. Permissions are scoped to the specific schema — users cannot access other tenants' databases.
Host-restricted grants
Database user grants are host-restricted. Connections are only accepted from the server's IP address, preventing remote database access.
phpMyAdmin integration
phpMyAdmin is available for database management. Authentication is integrated with the panel — no separate credentials needed.
Backup integration
Databases are included in backup jobs. The panel dumps the schema before backup and can restore on demand.
DNS zones and SSL certificates
BIND zone management
DNS zones are managed through BIND. The panel generates zone files with correct SOA, NS, A, AAAA, MX, and TXT records. Zone transfers can be configured.
Automatic DNS records
When a website or mailbox is created, the panel automatically adds the corresponding A, AAAA, and MX records to the DNS zone.
Let's Encrypt SSL
SSL certificates are obtained from Let's Encrypt using the ACME protocol. Certificates are renewed automatically before expiry.
HTTPS enforcement
When SSL is enabled, the panel configures HTTP-to-HTTPS redirects. HSTS headers can be enabled per website.
FTP accounts and scheduled jobs
ProFTPD virtual users
FTP accounts are managed through ProFTPD with virtual users. Passwords are stored securely. Each FTP account is scoped to a specific website directory.
Directory-scoped access
FTP accounts are locked to their website's document root. Users cannot navigate to other tenants' directories.
Cron job management
Tenants can create and manage cron jobs through the panel. Jobs are validated before being written to crontab. Output is logged for debugging.
Schedule configuration
Cron jobs support standard crontab syntax. The panel provides a user-friendly interface for scheduling: minute, hour, day, month, weekday.
Backup and restore
Automated backup jobs
Backups run as scheduled jobs through the queue. Website files and databases are archived together. Each backup records its size and completion timestamp.
Database dumps
Before backup, the panel dumps all associated databases. The dump is included in the backup archive for complete restoration.
Storage management
Backup storage is managed per server. Retention policies control how many backups are kept. Old backups are automatically purged.
Restore on demand
Backups can be restored through the panel. The restore process creates a new website from the backup archive and database dump.
